Founded in 1919, the Dayton Art Institute is one of the region’s premier fine art museums, known for its impressive collections of art, world-class traveling exhibitions and educational programming that includes a selection of offerings for diverse audiences.
As one of the Miami Valley’s premier fine art museums, the Dayton Art Institute offers a full range of programming in addition to exhibiting its collection. Current museum hours are Thursday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.
