16 Νοε 2019 · I've tried using my product key too, doesn't work. (Error code: 0x803f7001) When clicking "I recently changed hardware" I don't see my current PC in the list. I have a Windows 10 Pro license if that matters. And yes, it is Windows 10 Pro installed on the PC, not Home. What can I do to solve this?
27 Ιουν 2021 · To resolve the 0x803F7001 error, run the Activation Troubleshooter, and then use the steps below to activate Windows using your product key or a digital license for Windows. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change product key and enter the 25-character product key.

Nobody outside Microsoft knows exactly how Windows 10 stores the digital signature for keys but we do know it uses the UEFI to keep it safe. Anything that impacts that file can throw up this error. Fortunately, there are a couple of ways to fix it.
