9 Ιουν 2024 · If you are looking to maximize the potential of your Fire Mage in Cataclysm PvP, these are the recommended professions: Tailoring — is great for the Lightweave Embroidery cloak enchant. Jewelcrafting — Gives you three powerful from Chimera's Eye, giving you a 3x stat boost, compared to normal gems.
2 Οκτ 2024 · Understand that catapulting mages to PvP viability would take tuning of pretty much every class in the game, as it stems much further down than a singular mage issue. the class sucks and if u want to PvP and actually have fun, i’d suggest rogue, balance druid, or shaman. I would suggest just going standard frost spec, and use living flame, ice lance, chronostatic preservation, fingers of frost and arcane barrage (really op with rank 1 frostbolt, extremely fast cast that slows and can proc arcane barrage).

I am BiS with 29% CRIT. Deep fire is your only option for getting lucky and hopefully getting a hot streak proc.
21 Οκτ 2024 · The stat priority for Fire Mage in PvP is as follows: Intellect; Haste; Versatility; Mastery; Critical Strike; Intellect is the best stat in all situations. Haste is the best stat to be stacking as a Mage. This reduces the cast time of important abilities like Polymorph.
