About the Cambridge English: First Speaking test. The Speaking test is 14 minutes long and consists of four parts. The standard test format is two candidates and two examiners. One examiner will speak to you and your partner and the other will be listening.
There will be two examiners present: one asking the questions (the interlocutor) and the other marking the answers (the assessor). Below you will see an overview of the exam structure, sample questions and answers, tips on how to get a better score, and how your answer is assessed.
