“Perfect for 1.20 to 1.50 size acrobatic and 3-D planes as well as scale planes up to 20 pounds. The 2.4 uses a Husqvarna piston and cylinder coupled to a completely CNC machined engine assembly. This combination gives the 2.4 plenty of power at a very low weight.
That takes 6 to 10 gallons of gas through these things before they're broke in usually. Get as much info from the previous owner as you can & see if he's able to help you or someone else into gas in your club.
13 Φεβ 2024 · I have a matched set of FPE 2.4 40cc Gas engines. They have billet cases and I just received them back from CH Ignitions where he installed a new Magnetic timing pickup and brand new Ignitions. I also had them converted from the older spark plug to the new CM6 plugs.
The NEW 2.4 ci / 40 cc features an Automatic Timing Advance Module which eliminates the need of 20 moving parts and greatly improves the reliability and longevity of the engine. The cylinder/piston assembly is Nikasil lined by Dolmar, USA.
