Fish Creek Falls is a 283-foot waterfall located just outside of the town of Steamboat Springs. The route is used by hikers during the summer and is a beautiful trail to snowshoe in the winter. Along the way, you'll pass by two beautiful waterfalls, Lower and Upper Fish Creek Falls.
Fish creek falls is nice and so close to town, with a nice little drive up to it. The paved walk to the overlook is very easy for all ages and offers a good photo spot. The slightly longer picnic trail takes you to a bridge closer to the falls; it’s steeper but smooth.
