Its fish species include largemouth bass, walleye, steelhead, smallmouth bass, perch, king salmon, and lake trout.
Lake Erie is the shallowest of the five Great Lakes with a maximum depth of 64 m or 210 ft. While only the fourth largest Great Lake with a water surface area of 25,655 square kilometers or 9,910 square miles.
