10 Μαρ 2012 · My USB ports used to work, but have stopped working. I would re-install ubuntu but do not want to do that until I can back up my data which I cannot until my USB ports are fixed. How do I check to see if ubuntu is seeing the USB drivers and if it is, how do I diagnose the problem?

Here's a step-by-step way to do that: Download Ubuntu. If you already have the *.iso then you may skip this step. Next, burn the iso to your pendrive or a CD/DVD.
2 Αυγ 2021 · On Win 10 I had the same problem with the XHCI driver, when solving the problem I got into a boot loop with bluescreen so I switched to Ubunutu. I suspect also here a faulty XHCI driver, installed with the updates. How can I use the driver from the installation ?
24 Οκτ 2024 · Reinstall USB Root Hub driver in Device Manager. Disconnect all USB devices from the computer. Type and search [Device Manager] in the Windows search bar ①, then click [Open] ②. (The left-side search illustration below is in Windows 11, and the right-side is Windows 10.) Uninstall the driver of USB Root Hub.

It should work the same if you have to git link for other wireless card drivers for Ubuntu or the instructions should be very similar. How to get rtl8723de drivers and install.
28 Ιαν 2018 · Download a version of Ubuntu and create installation media. Boot from the USB drive (or DVD) to "try Ubuntu", then install boot-repair and try it. If boot-repair did not resolve the issue, then you may need to manually change the UEFI boot order .
