Top tube protectors- Discussion. Is there a consensus on their usefulness and/or aesthetics? I rarely see them on the sweet bikes I see posted in this sub. I've bought several used bikes over the years and the top tube is usually the area with the most scrapes or dings.

8 Δεκ 2023 · If necessary, replace the brake pads and adjust their position before moving forward. Next, locate the brake lever and make sure it is securely attached to the handlebars. If any adjustments are needed, tighten or loosen the attachment until it is secure.
While even my fixie doesn't rock a top tube pad, I think they would be handy for shoulder portages up the stairs. that and for leaning against parking meters when you lock up. Paul
