Full-facility campsites for tent campers and RVers include water, electricity, a grill and picnic table, along with centralized showers, restrooms and dump station. Maximum RV lengths vary by park. On the east end of the Florida River Island bridge is a recreation area with a day-use picnic area, boat ramp, and 10 overnight campsites that are available by reservation only. This recreation area offers two picnic pavilions, pedestal grills, fire rings and a composting toilet.

From Woods Ferry, paddlers may choose to travel 10.8 river miles to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park or 18.4 river miles to the next river camp, Holton Creek.
