19 Οκτ 2020 · The Florida-Friendly landscape pattern books provide homeowners with design guidelines and suggested plants for typical residential site conditions in four USDA Hardiness Zones in Florida, including North Florida, North Central Florida, South Central Florida, and South Florida.
Using the 1990 USDA Hardiness Zone classifications, this updated interactive version covers the state of Florida and was compiled using National Weather Service climate data through 2009 and covering a broader time frame than the 30 year range used in the current USDA map.
This book includes descriptions of the characteristics of the plants in each group, examples of planting plans, design suggestions, and plant lists for each group. Plant Characteristics: lists the physical and aesthetic characteristics of plants appropriate for each site condition.
