11 Ιαν 2021 · Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) is a chemical analysis method which is based on the injection of a sample (solution) into a carrier solution in an unsegmented system. Not segmented means that the system is flowing and is not divided into certain areas, such as rivers.
Unsegmented Continuous Flow Analyzers 4 Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) Developed by J. Ruzicka and E.H. Hansen in 1974. They removed the air bubbles and replaced these by employing a reproducible timing through injection of the sample into a flowing system, which can be designed to minimize cross- contamination.
Iron is determined using FIA (Flow Injection Analysis) by producing its complex with ferrozine (log Kf = 15.6). Absorbance detection is used with the λmax = 562 nm with ε = 27,900 L mol-1 cm-1 .
