The mag base plate overhangs the magazine body on the sides. Because of the larger magazine locking tabs, inch mags can only be used in inch pattern guns. The inch pattern mags are probably the stronger and more durable of the two designs.

4 Μαρ 2022 · They are properly called hiduminium mags, and were made by FN and issued originally to paratroopers. Four currently being auctioned on the FAL Files and the opening bid is $150. No bids yet, so we'll see what they go for.

I am looking to identify these magazines. I think I know the answer, but cannot say for sure... considering I couldn't find a solid answer doing a search, I figure that this would be good conversation... The magazine in the middle has a parkerized finish and the follower is dark blued.

26 Σεπ 2020 · I have recently started to get into the fal platform and have a few questions about magazine origins. How can you tell where a magazine was made and were there differences between manufacturers? Is there a list/chart somewhere where it shows manufacturer markings?
