29 Νοε 2008 · As I studied the Monarch-P specs and considered the few samples of its sound available online, I concluded that the Aguilar pickup would not be right for me. Testing pickups in my hoard, with the Monarch-P in mind, I revisited and quickly chose the Klein. (If you’ve read any of my reviews here, you know that I'm a bit of a bass pickup freak.
14 Μαρ 2007 · I bought a Monarch Standard 4 string last December. It's super-easy to play, weighs only 8.5 pounds, and is quite versatile. I even like the sound of the front pickup soloed and I'm not normally a fan of that sound.
29 Νοε 2008 · TWO FODERA BASSES: ONE STANDARD, ONE CUSTOM...after playing my custom in the afternoon, late night I played my Monarch-P then my custom. Hot times! Not only was it the first time I could say that "I played my Foderas" (as in plural, multiple, more than one), but I can report that the Monarch-P was STRONG.
