29 Νοε 2008 · Testing pickups in my hoard, with the Monarch-P in mind, I revisited and quickly chose the Klein. (If you’ve read any of my reviews here, you know that I'm a bit of a bass pickup freak. So sensitive… so particular!) When I asked Fodera if they would use a pickup I supplied, for building a Standard bass, to my delight and surprise they said yes.
14 Μαρ 2007 · I bought a Monarch Standard 4 string last December. It's super-easy to play, weighs only 8.5 pounds, and is quite versatile. I even like the sound of the front pickup soloed and I'm not normally a fan of that sound. Mine has dual coils and that allows more tonal options. It cost a small fortune but I can't say I regret it.
1 Ιουλ 2022 · The playability of this thing is insane! When they say strings under the frets, they mean it on these. I had to raise the action up a bit and it’s still the lowest action on any bass I own. Looking forward to playing it live soon. Is it worth the price?

30 Αυγ 2004 · I just got this Fodera Monarch a few days ago from Bass Central. I can definitely see why there’s so much fuss about these instruments. It plays so easily right out of the box. Great responsiveness, sustain, and it sounds good in all registers. It’s also very unforgiving for poor technique, due to the clarity.
