Testing pickups in my hoard, with the Monarch-P in mind, I revisited and quickly chose the Klein. (If you’ve read any of my reviews here, you know that I'm a bit of a bass pickup freak.
14 Μαρ 2007 · I bought a Monarch Standard 4 string last December. It's super-easy to play, weighs only 8.5 pounds, and is quite versatile. I even like the sound of the front pickup soloed and I'm not normally a fan of that sound. Mine has dual coils and that allows more tonal options. It cost a small fortune but I can't say I regret it.

To my surprise, they had a “new” 2021 Yin-Yang Monarch Standard 5 in stock that I immediately asked to test drive. The associate took it down and I plugged it into a Markbass 2x10 combo.

1 Ιουλ 2022 · Orange, Texas. Jul 1, 2022. #1. Took vacation in Tennessee the last week and stumbled upon a GC with Fodera in stock. Surprisingly they were willing to deal on it a bit. The strings on it were dead but I got them to throw some new ones in as part of it. The playability of this thing is insane!
