26 Μαρ 2016 · Common folded horn subwoofer designs The folded horn speaker design has an endless amount of possible internal layouts. The main focus is to increase the area of the flare at an exponential rate.
This workbook can be used to design a tapped horn with a "Othorn" style fold. The spreadsheet allows for the design parabolic (default), conical or exponential expansion, the latter two being approximated by parabolic segments.

15 Μαΐ 2019 · this is my results from my short research. I define 3 steps in horn design: 1) Horn design (math model); (PDF) Horn Theory: An Introduction, Part 1. Library Genesis. 2) Investigate how to get a good response at low frequencies (30-50Hz) without the horn bell being 3m or wider 😀 (but the size of commercial models).
21 Αυγ 2016 · Made a start on the 2 x 15" Folded Horn Subwoofer. As it will be 2.4m long, and very heavy, I decided to build it in two pieces. 1200mm long x 700mm high x 600mm deep. This is the size of the opening under my AT screen. My Cat 12's are above sitting on a 32mm MDF shelf. The Horn was designed by Paul at Red Spade Audio to fit this space.
