Forgot your lock screen password or parental controls PIN? Reset it directly from the lock screen on your device. Your device must be connected to the internet to reset your lock screen password or PIN. From the lock screen on your Fire tablet, enter the wrong password or PIN five times.
From the Adult Profile lock screen, enter an incorrect PIN/passcode 5 times in a row. Wrong PIN will be replaced by a box that says Incorrect Password at the top. Tap Reset Password in yellow at the bottom of the box. That will take you to your Amazon account to reset the PIN.
