1 Μαρ 2024 · 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel - 6.7 upper oil pan leak - At 67K I noticed an oil leak during an oil change. I took it in and it turns out to be the upper oil pan. Looked on YouTube to see what was involved in this operation and was surprised at how involved it is.

17 Απρ 2021 · I had the upper oil pan gasket changed under warrenty twice, now its leaking again at 280,000. I would get it fixed while its under warrenty because it will only get worse, and DO NOT use stop leak!!!
23 Αυγ 2020 · The engine bay will be very clean. I would check the vacuum pump first though super common issue on the 6.7l. The bolts come loose and oil leaks from the engine behind the pump. Usually replace the gasket and get new bolts.
22 Οκτ 2023 · UPDATE: Did maintenance on the truck today. Replaced the Engine Oil as it was due. Used Motorcraft oil per the manual specifications & added Stiction Eliminator from Hot Shot Secrets. Replaced the Cold side pipe due to stock one being flimpsy and popping off on me on the highway.
13 Ιουλ 2018 · 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel - Upper oil pan leak - I guess it’s my turn. I had read some of the posts about an upper oil pan leak. My 2016 F350 has 32,000 miles on it and has developed this leak. It goes in Monday to be fixed at the dealer under warranty.

26 Ιουλ 2014 · It is my understanding that all 6.7L diesels manufactured after 11/11 have metal oil pans and metal drain plugs. Approximately every 3 weeks I will have to replace my plastic drain plug as it will start leaking.
