Forward Controls Design: Know This. FCD is known for its meticulously designed rifle parts, not just accessories or replacement AR parts, but upgrades with specific intention: components, attachments, and retrofits that improve the functionality of your rifle or pistol.
SOLGW BCGs are already well established and known for their quality and reliability, there isn't much we can do to make it better. We opted to use OCKS (which we have been using on our SBCGs since 2018) and SCP (NP3 or black nitride), it is otherwise identical to the original SOLGW BCG.
The S in SBCG stands for Secure Stacking, Slick Side. SBCG carrier has a series of serrations or dimples to aid in closing an out of battery bolt on upper receivers without a forward assist. The carrier still has forward assist pawl notches, and so is compatible with forward assist equipped uppers.
It takes more than a fancy modern coating to improve upon the standard M16 bolt carrier group, but Forward Controls Design is up to the challenge. High quality materials, thoughtful design improvements, and carefully selected components all come together in their SBCG!
