On the EMR-A, the area immediately below the bolt catch's lower paddle has the lowest profile on the lever, in order to create as much clearance as possible, so the factory bolt catch's lower paddle is still accessible.

23 Ιαν 2020 · The EMR-A comes in two different models – standard and extended reach. My model is the extended. FCD recommends the standard reach model for defensive rifles, but in my opinion, the difference between the two (0.09″) shouldn’t make a huge difference safety-wise.
The EMR features a slightly curved button surface to fit the natural curvature of your finger. The form fitting curve, along with horizontal serrations, create a self centering surface that inhibits the finger’s vertical movements.
A 10.9lb rated magazine catch spring is included with each EMR-A. EMR-A's catch is made from CNC machined 4140 steel and black nitride coated, its lever is 7075 aluminum and Type 3 hard coat anodized.
