Our foster families provide safe, stable and healing home environments for abused and neglected children. Our services also include a focus on helping current and former foster youth transition into self-sufficient adults.
Promises2Kids provides over 3,000 foster youth in San Diego County with the tools, opportunities and guidance they need to overcome the difficulties of their past, and grow into healthy and successful adults.
Foster Care & Adoption. Our foster care and adoption services provide safe, nurturing homes. for children who cannot live with their biological parents. Youth Services & THP. We offer safe, stable housing and comprehensive support to help youth develop life skills, pursue education and employment, and achieve self-sufficiency.
Foster Family Agencies or FFA’s are private, non-profit charitable organizations who partner with Child Welfare Services of San Diego County to find loving homes for children placed in foster care. Each FFA is unique in the age range of children they serve and the supportive services they provide.
Walden’s foster care and adoption program cater to infants, sibling groups, LGBTQ youth, and children with various needs, including developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral challenges, or special healthcare needs.
