28 Μαρ 2022 · There were lots of rumors circulating around the year 2000, saying two of the owners of the park were found dead, and there were also rumors that the founder of the park had something to do it in the end, however those are simply allegations and no proof was ever presented for him to be convicted.
According to makeloveland.com, the area around the lake at 3000 Auburn Rd is divided into four parcels. It looks like two of the parcels already have houses/condos on them. From the Google satellite view, one of the others is getting subdivided now - there are already streets laid out.
20 Αυγ 2024 · The Four Bears Water Park was located in Utica, Shelby Township. It was a place that has fond memories for many kids who grew up in the 80's & 90's; water slides, bumper cars, go-karts, swimming, paddle boats, arcade games, food, picnicking, batting cages and mini-golf.

I grew up right behind this water park, which is now a residential development. My friends and I used to visit this place often as they had an awesome arcade and haunted house (Terror Town) during Halloween season.
The water park, which opened in 1983, featured a huge water slide that was a landmark on Auburn Road, between Ryan and Dequindre. It also offered Go-Karts, swimming, paddle boats, a wave ride, and miniature golf, among other attractions.
