The park is nice and clean. The bathroom facilities are clean and accessible. The beaches are beautiful but pets are not allowed. There were many shells on the beach but most were broken. I found many more on the main beach of the island and perfect, difficult to find shells on Little St George Island.

Saint George Island State Park is located on Saint George Island in the Gulf of Mexico. It has nine miles of undeveloped beaches and dunes, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico. Offering RV and Tent camping, Canoe/Kayak rentals and superior beach fishing spots, the park is a popular destination for visitors seeking a natural setting.
This 1,962-acre barrier island park has 60 campsites with electricity, water hookups and a dump station that is nearby. Six sites have concrete pads and walkways. The campground is located behind historic dunes in the pine flatwoods.
