Season 4 finale. I recently started watching Dexter and I just finished season 4. I'm trying my best to stay away from spoilers until I'm actually done with all the seasons but it's so hard because I really wanna know how other people felt about the finale.

We always had a happy ending, and a stand-alone ending (the series could've ended right at season 1, 2 or 3 and it wouldn't feel "unfinished"). At the end of season 4, you expect the same pattern. Dexter kills Trinity, and the finale will end with him happily spending time with Rita at the Keys.
Dexter Season 4 Finale. Spoiler. My wife and I recently started watching Dexter. I had seen the first 2 seasons and half of season 3, but we started at the beginning. Well, we have been making a lot of headway and I've really been enjoying season 4. I don't know why I stopped in season 3.
We just watched the season four finale, and I am literally distraught over Rita’s death. I can’t believe someone so adorably innocent could be given a death so brutal. And just when you thought that she and dexter could truly be happy!
season 4 ending. Recently rewatched. When did dexter have time to take the oil cap off of trinity's car? When did arthur have time to kill rita and what was timeline betwee him killing her and dexter coming home? How trinity figure out dexter past in such a short time period. Trinity didnt reveal he killed rita right before dexter killed him?
So I've just finished season 4 and am one episode 1 of the next season but I am very confused about rita's death. I know trinity did it but I'm confused about how if he was dead. It doesnt show a scene about finding Dexter's new home and its just very unclear. Could anyone clear it up for me? Thanks.
Just finished season 4 finale. For those who have seen the remainder of the series, is it worth it to keep watching? My gf and I just finished watching season 4 (first time watching for both of us) and we’re debating whether we should continue watching the series or just abandon it.
