21 Δεκ 2021 · The essential haiku : versions of Bashō, Buson, and Issa. An anthology of haikus--brief poems--by three Japanese masters. They are Kobayashi Issa (1763-1827), Matsuo Basho (1644-1694) and Yosa Buson (1716-1783).
The two hundred haiku in this collection are presented chronologically, from the earliest, composed in 1666, to the last haiku Bashō ever wrote, in the autumn of 1694.
