I would love to be able to convert these videos from their original Quick Time format to something that my computer "prefers" playing such as WAV or AVI. Is there a way to do this without using an online converter (which I would really prefer not doing)?
31 Ιαν 2023 · If you're using a Mac, you can use QuickTime Pro to convert your file into an iPod-friendly format. Download and install QuickTime Player Pro 7.0.3; Select or import your video file. Select File->Export; From the Export drop-down list choose Movie to iPod. A new file will be created on your Desktop. Import this file into iTunes and sync your iPod.
WinFF, a GUI version of FFmpeg, is free and comes with a bunch of ready-made parameter presets for converting to iPod-compatible video formats. HandBrake is another free converter that's reportedly good. No personal experience, though. Hey y'all. Recently built/refurbished my iPod Video and I'm wanting to get some movies and videos on it.
