Frontrow and similar MLM schemes are scams because they are selling a dream. They won't be able to stand on their own if not for selling a dream, because their products are crap and expensive. Those other examples you mentioned, e.g. multivitamins, might be scams but are not enticing you to spend money to chase a dream (of being rich).
