Eligibility, or need, is based on your FAFSA results. Only first-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). You can receive between $200 and $1000 a year, depending on your financial need.
To apply for an FSEOG, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®) form so the college or career school can determine your level of financial need. Students who qualify for a Federal Pell Grant will receive priority for FSEOG funds.
