WHEELS AND CONTACT POINTS. This page details how to setup and configure the contact and friction models for your aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator. These values can all be set in the Aircraft Editor from the Contact Points section of the Flight Model tab:
5 Δεκ 2022 · In the above the first 3 contact points are Class 1 = wheels. Class 2 contact points are what you want as they stipulate the external points on the airplane model. For example contact points 3 and 4 look like the wing tips.
The simulation will check through the list of contact points and find the first spring reaction contact point - either a wheel, skid, or a ski - which is located in front of the center of gravity of the empty aircraft. This contact point will initially be considered as main front landing gear.
9 Μαρ 2003 · The contact points are used to adjust the aircraft relative to CoG.Contact points 2 and 3 are typically the main gear, but this is not likely the problem. This parameter defines the length and distances of the main gear relative to CoG.Your problem as stated seems more rleated to static_cg_height (above the ground).
7 Σεπ 2017 · The lower the float points, the higher the model floats in the water. You'll need to experiment, but that's the basics and save a backup copy of the original aircraft.cfg before you start! Reactions: potkoorok
19 Μαΐ 2018 · Then make 'Float' contact points (type 4). The floats will allow you to not sink into the ground, the ac bouncing up in the air, or flipping over (ruining your 'crash' landing). The 'Float' points will be placed in CLOSE proximity of the body (1 each under engines and 1 under nose). Try as below.
14 Απρ 2005 · First, have you had a look at the Contact Points section of the Aircraft Container SDK?There's also a utility called Aircraft Container Manager (ACM) which eases much of the pain, and actually helps you understand the relationships.
