- BCRSP Certification Examination Composition
The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) provides certification of occupational health and safety professionals in Canada and has an established Code of Ethics.
Many regulations made under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act require compliance with standards published by the CSA Group. These standards define requirements for reducing the risk of workplace injuries.
Once the examination scoring quality assurance process is complete, candidates are issued their examination results. This process can take up to 6-8 weeks to complete (from the last date of the applicable examination window).
Applications for the CRSP® certification received on or after July 1 2018 are required to have the following: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field* OR a 2-year diploma (or certificate) (minimum of 900 hours or 60 credits) in occupational health and safety or equivalent from a recognized academic institution.
