For the explicit option you only need ONE port: 22. For the implicit option you only need to have the firewall open for the control port: 8086 (which forwards internally to port 21 on your filezilla server).

23 Σεπ 2020 · For example, your FTP client will open a control channel on port 21 and a data channel on a random high port in the 60000 – 65535 port range. Implicit FTPS uses different ports by default, starting with assigned FTPS port 990 to make the control connection.
However, if the FTP control connection is encrypted using TLS/SSL, the firewall cannot determine the TCP port number of a data connection negotiated between the client and FTP server. Therefore, in many firewalled networks, an FTPS deployment will fail when an unencrypted FTP deployment will work.
