Each island has their own mini games you have to complete to earn their rewards, which include gems or coins and give a pad decoration, listed as P.D. in the infobox below, excluding the Rankup Island, where you can rank up.
The update moon is a moon near launch pad island that has a sign displaying the current update, and next to the sign will be what said update brought to the game. As of update 4 is currently displays a Handybot and has the text 'Update 4!' on it.
