Located at Building 507 on Mesa Road, Distribution & Logistical Services (DLS) is responsible for providing essential services that include UCSB Mail Services, Central Receiving, Furniture Services, Surplus Sales, as well as Materiel & Logistics for all units in the Residential Operations department.
Overview. The Surplus Sales program is responsible for the disposal of excess inventorial equipment, furniture, and supplies. We sell surplus property to the general public, university departments, and facilitate transfers of research equipment that is federally funded and University-owned. Hours. Tuesdays 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
