12 Μαΐ 2023 · Fusible interfacing is a material used in sewing, quilting, and craft projects. It has a heat-activated adhesive on one side that bonds to the fabric when ironed. Fusible interfacing can have different structures and thicknesses to work well with different fabrics.
Fusible interfacing is interfacing which has tiny glue dots on the back which when melted by the heat of the iron bond the interfacing and fabric together. There are many types of interfacing available (see our beginner’s guide here) but this article will focus on fusible interfacing.
Fusible web provides the ability to fuse fabrics together – it is a sheet of heat sensitive glue adhesive for fabrics. Fusible interfacing only has the heat sensitive adhesive on one side. It can either be a woven or non woven fabric with the fusible applied to one side.
Dritz Stitch Witchery is a fusible bonding web that’s great for no-sew projects. It can also be used for hems and other applications where you don’t want stitches showing. The bonding tape is a strip of adhesive that melts when ironed to adhere fabric together, creating a permanent bond.

Fuse-n-Bond is ideal for attaching appliqué, lettering, embroideries, patches, and emblems onto fabric and creates a permanent ultrahold bond between fabric surfaces without the need for sewing. Once applied, Fuse-n-Bond can be machine washed or dry cleaned.
