15 Νοε 2016 · Fuzzy logic emerged in the context of the theory of fuzzy sets, introduced by Lotfi Zadeh (1965). A fuzzy set assigns a degree of membership, typically a real number from the interval \ ( [0,1]\), to elements of a universe. Fuzzy logic arises by assigning degrees of truth to propositions.

15 Νοε 2016 · This entry focuses on fuzzy logic in a narrow sense, established as a discipline of mathematical logic following the seminal monograph by Petr Hájek (1998) and nowadays usually referred to as “mathematical fuzzy logic” (see Cintula, Fermüller, Hájek, & Noguera 2011 and 2015).
5 Μαΐ 2021 · The term fuzzy logic is used in this paper to describe an imprecise logical system, FL, in which the truth-values are fuzzy subsets of the unit interval with linguistic labels such as true, false, not true, very true, quite true, not very true and not very false, etc.
25 Σεπ 1989 · Fuzzy logic is an approach to comput-er science that mimics the way a human brain thinks and solves problems. The idea of fuzzy logic is to approximate. commercial fuzzy expert system: a com-puter program that controlled the fuel-intake rate and gas flow of a rotating kiln used to make cement.
10 Απρ 2022 · In fuzzy logic, actually, there is nothing fuzzy, rather it is a precise logic of imprecision and approximate reasoning. It is a form of multi-valued logic derived from fuzzy set theory to deal with problem of approximation rather than precision. It is a system of logic for dealing vague concepts.
11 Ιουλ 2020 · In the region of unsolved problems in Mathematics, generally Mathematical Logic is relevant to philosophy. (In this point one claim that in the future Fuzzy Logic could be helpful from the point of view of further research).
We discuss the present state of mathematical fuzzy logic in narrow sense, its extension — fuzzy logic in broader sense (FLb) as a logic of natural human rea-soning and also some related theories, e.g., the fuzzy transform. We argue that these are good theories with potential to be very practical.
