21 Μαΐ 2022 · According to Axel urbankes book about the Doras in III./JG 54 Dortenmann was Staffelkapitän from 11./JG 54 which had yellow numbers, when changing to 14./JG 26 in February it changed to black numbers.
2 Νοε 2021 · There are a few different colour schemes suggested fuselage rlm76 or something like a blue green very similar to rlm 02. Top of wings could be rlm 82 and rlm 83 or rlm 75 with rlm 82. Is Eduard's interpretation accurate?
15 Αυγ 2024 · The well-known colour photograph of the II./JG 6 Dora “Blue 12”, WNr.500570 indicates that its undersides and fuselage were painted the green-blue variation of 76, fuselage spine and engine cowling in 81 (Braunviolett variant) and with an 81 Hellgrün overspray on the forward cowling and rear fuselage insert.
Many are aircraft that are familiar to Dora enthusiasts, though with new information and images that lead to some surprising colour interpretations. These interpretations, as discussed in the text, are illustrated with colour and b/w plan and scrap views, and outstanding full-page artist profiles.

A 475 page hardbound book which follows the production of the Dora, this book documents the development of the camouflage by the different manufacturers and the production batches.
