To renew an expired certificate, the individual must meet all applicable renewal requirements outlined above, including any remaining Special Georgia Requirements, and submit an application packet with appropriate documentation to the GaPSC.

MyPSC is a secure website for Georgia educators and applicants for educator certification. Here you can view or print your certificate, read correspondence sent to you, update your personal information on file with the Professional Standards Commission, and access other PSC resources.
Which types of licenses can be renewed? A. Georgia’s renewable licenses are Adjunct, Educational Interpreter, Non- Instructional Aide, Paraprofessional and Support Personnel.
(x) Educators employed at Georgia private schools may renew their certificates by completing the requirements outlined in Sections (e)1-4 above or by completing the requirements outlined in Section (g) below.
If your certificate expired or you hold a Retired Educator certificate, you must renew your professional certificate before returning to the classroom. Apply for renewal through your MyPSC Account if you have met renewal requirements.
All others may access the agency’s public website at www.gapsc.com. Email inquiries may be sent using the contact form available here. Educators can monitor the status of an application, view/print their certificate and correspondence, access the upgrade advisor, and much more from their MyPSC account.
