David William Heath (born February 16, 1969) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1998 to 2001 and intermittently throughout the mid-2000s under the ring name Gangrel. He has also made appearances for All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
The Brood was an evil stable of gothic vampires, led by Gangrel, in the Attitude Era. This was where Edge and Christian got their start as a tag team, billed as brothers at the time. This entrance has to be one of the coolest, non-PPV/"special" entrances ever.
If Gangrel had come out to the brood music, its very synonymous with his character, much more than Edge. It's the kind of thing a heel Omega would do to troll people expecting Edge. Instead he brings out a more elderly, lesser known wrestler that he'd beat up to send Christian a message.

On the May 24 episode of Raw, Edge and Gangrel lost a WWF Tag Team Championship match to Kane and X-Pac. On the June 13 episode of Sunday Night Heat, The Brood defeated The Hardy Boyz & Michael Hayes in a six-man tag team elimination match.
