I have tried resetting the device, wiping history etc all to no avail. I have also tried windows compatibility settings and reinstalling windows. I did not have this problem with Garmin Communicator plugin. The only solution was to uninstall Garmin Express, Download it again and reinstall it.

My edge 530 is stuck in factory mode after an automatic software update. I would want to factory reset the device via garmin express as it still recognizes the device when plugged in via usb. (the device does not pop up in garmin connect or finder)
