Looks consistent when it burns but something shuts it off very abruptly. Any suggestions where to look next? I reread your post to clean out the lint chute by removing the back panel.

25 Αυγ 2023 · Ignitor glows back on and ignites gas and flame stays on for 5 seconds and then goes out. This repeats indefintely while the Dryer is running. It does this on all settings including Timed Dry and Electronic Dry (so the moisture sensor shouldn' be the culprit either)
17 Μαΐ 2020 · Failed Control Board – Gas and Electric. The least likely of the causes would be the main control board and it should be the last thing that you check. Unlike most of the other components that are easily tested with a multimeter, the control board is much more difficult to test.
25 Απρ 2024 · You can check to see if this process is happening by watching the gas burner through a small observation port in the front panel of your dryer. Just pry off the small cover with a screwdriver. Some dryers won't have this port, but if you remove the top of the unit you can still see.
Gas dryers have gas valve solenoids that open to let gas flow to the burner. If they fail, the dryer won't heat up. To check, look at the igniter. If it glows but doesn't light the gas, the solenoid is bad. If one or more solenoids are defective, replace them all together. That way the dryer will heat right.
