And today, our restructured GEMS Indian School in Abu Dhabi is regarded as one of the premier educational institutions in the city. Our school offers a Ministry of Education (MOE), UAE, approved Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated curriculum.
There are two key versions of the Indian Curriculum, both of which are becoming increasingly recognised and accepted outside India: the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations). At GEMS, we offer both pathways.
GEMS United Indian School affiliated to CBSE, currently offers the following options of subjects for Grades 11 and 12. SCIENCE STREAM. Group 1- Mandatory Subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry. Group 2- Any 2 subjects from: Biology, Mathematics, Psychology, Computer Science, Fine Arts, Marketing, Physical Education. COMMERCE STREAM.

GEMS United Indian School (GUIS) is an Indian curriculum school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). GUIS delivers the CBSE curriculum from kindergarten to Grade 12. The CBSE curriculum is infused with the subjects made mandatory by the Ministry of Education (MoE) throughout all the grade levels.
