David Guzik commentary on Genesis 26, where God proclaims the covenant to Isaac, who commits the same sin as his father Abraham.
26:12-17 God blessed Isaac. Be it observed, for the encouragement of poor tenants who occupy other people's lands, and are honest and industrious, that God blessed him with a great increase. The Philistines envied Isaac.
1. (Genesis 26:12-14) Isaac becomes wealthy, as Abraham was before him. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants.
