The equine facility has a teaching barn, small indoor arena, outdoor arenas, classrooms, feed and tack rooms, a wash rack, and treatment area, as well as a building dedicated to the breeding program. The facility is located at 2601 West McElroy, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74074. View Map.
Students attend classes at our facility and are able to get hands-on training. We offer an outstanding equine breeding and foaling program. Extension equine events are also hosted at our facility. We have horses available for sale each year.

The Equine Research Park currently maintains a herd of resident horses that are cared for by our student workers and research team. Our horses participate in our teaching and research and are helping us to better understand the effects of exercise on physiology.
In addition to the general education and specific degree requirements for an animal science degree, students have an opportunity to take many hands-on and lecture-based equine courses. Students work with their faculty academic advisor to incorporate these courses into their plan of study.
