Paciano Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda (March 9, 1851 – April 13, 1930) was a Filipino general and revolutionary, and the older brother of José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines.
After Rizal was executed, Paciano became a general of the Revolutionary Army. He was also appointed as a military commander of the revolutionary forces in Laguna, where the American forces captured him in 1900.

28 Μαρ 2021 · Perusing a map of the country, the brothers Paciano Mercado Rizal and Jose Rizal were often observed discussing about the probable areas where the revolutionaries would begin to strike. After his brother’s execution in December 1896, Paciano joined the Katipuneros in Cavite under General Emilio Aguinaldo.

13 Ιουν 2013 · Paciano Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda was born on March 7, 1851 in Calamba, Laguna. According to Filipino historian Ambeth R. Ocampo, Paciano was fondly addressed by his siblings as ‘ñor Paciano,’ short for ‘Señor Paciano’.
