Weapons Carry Application. Georgia residents who are at least 21 years old may apply for a Weapons Carry License. Residents between the ages of 18 to 20 years old with certain military training may also apply. Applications must be made at the Probate Court in the Applicant's county of residence.

You may now submit the preliminary gun permit application securely online. However, after submitting the application online, you must appear in person at the Probate Court office to finalize the application, pay the required fees, be photographed and registered for fingerprints.
