Georgia residents who are at least 21 years old may apply for a Weapons Carry License. Residents between the ages of 18 to 20 years old with certain military training may also apply. Applications must be made at the Probate Court in the Applicant's county of residence.
$30.00 for the permit application, which is acceptable in the form or cash, check or credit card. A processing fee will apply to all credit/debit card payments. The fee for fingerprinting, in the amount of $53.00, can only be accepted in the form of a debit or credit card.
18 Φεβ 2024 · To obtain a firearm permit in Georgia online, you must apply through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) website and complete the application process, including submitting required documentation such as a valid ID and proof of residency.
After submitting the application online, you must appear in the Probate Court Clerk's Office to meet with a clerk and finalize the application, pay the required fees, be photographed and fingerprinted. Complete Preliminary Application Online.

You must take your application to the DeKalb County Police Department. You will pay $75.25 to the DeKalb County Probate Court by case, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. No personal checks are accepted. When you are fingerprinted at the DeKalb County Police Department, the fee will be $5.00 cash.
