1 Σεπ 2021 · How to grow Silver Bismarck palm trees from seed. Foolproof method. Heat + moisture = successful seed germination when it comes to the Silver Bismarck palm tree.
To grow Bismarck palm from seeds, plant them in a pot about 1-2 inches deep and water well. The soil used should be well draining. Also, maintain the moisture levels in the soil for easy germination.
With most palms, propagation from seed is not difficult as long as a few basic requirements are met. Among the most important are fresh seed, good sanitation, proper medium, proper hydration, and adequate heat.
Sow the seeds in sowing mix and silica sand (1:1) and press the seeds halfway into the ground. Cover with plastic foil or glass and keep the ground moist. Place on a warm spot (30 degrees Celsius with bottom heat or near a heater/stove). The seeds usually germinate after 6 to 8 weeks, possibly later. Photo: Eklenen Resimler
