System (VAMS) for their online scheduling of COVID-19 vaccine appointments. If directed by the provider or the CT COVID Vaccine Finder search, vaccine eligible individuals will go to the DPH VAMS webpage to schedule at https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccinations---VAMS-Support.
In order to receive the vaccine, the individual must schedule an appointment through the Wellspan portal (directions to schedule the appointment can be found in the attachment). It may be necessary to check the website frequently to find an opening.
All Griffin Hospital encourages all patients and visitors to be vaccinated, but will no longer require proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or proof of a negative PCR test result within the last 72 hours to enter the hospital.
