Standard round brilliant diamonds are evaluated for one of five possible cut grades: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor. The cut grade is determined from a combination of measured parameters and visual obser-vations.
These tables can be used to estimate the proportion cut grade for a particular standard round brilliant, or they can be used for general cut planning.
